I know, cus they support heavier programs while still having a screen, doesnt mean most of them, even the expensive ones, aren't buggy and have more of a delay

i had a drawing tablet without a screen and wanted to upgrade to one with a screen but they are So expensive and so i bought an ipad instead and i think it was a good decision it's been 2+ years and i'm very happy with it. and it's just the 2018 9.7" ipad with the first gen pencil not an ipad pro

if you have a mac with a newer operating system you can screen share too i think (i don't have a newer operating system so i haven't tried it lmao) so then u can use your ipad like a screen tablet with your computer
and then the very few times i need to use a tablet with my computer (because procreate is enough for most things i do) i just use my old cheap tablet

what about ipad screen size, is it worth it to invest in the biggest screen if you use it for drawing, i feel like u would end up having problems with the size on the smallest one

i've had a lot of issues lately and been looking into it and finding that a lot of people have had the same issues for years and they're never really solved

but like at the end of the day, i think it really comes down to what your needs are with drawing and what programs you're going to use, so like the question of what is best really comes down to the person

i still technically find a proper screen tablet better, just not really worth the price point

i would say it's worth it for the better processor because you can work with bigger files, i have a smaller ipad and when i draw in procreate with a bigger canvas size there's a max amount of layers i can use and that can be pretty annoying, and wouldn't be the case with an ipad pro. but for me personally the screen size doesn't bug me i don't think it's too small

as in the bigger screens are the ipad pros -> they have better processors than the regular ipads

I have an 11" n tbh I wouldn't want to have it bigger than this lol, the biggest one is way too big but I wouldn't want the downgrade either
