Therefore cencorship is the number one enemy to the historian!

I can agree on the fact that it's important having a focus on the issues today instead of looking to the past and deciding to alter those instead of making new ones which adresses issues in the current society :)

On a serious note here, it's nothing new that songs get censored. Even recent songs get censored. Some countries are more prominent doing so than others, in the Western world the most active on it is arguably the US as they are huge fans of censoring content they don't like, such as swear words, reference to some types of violence and narcotics. If anything, it's surprising that the song was able to run without censorship for a while because it's just very out of character of some countries. Norway and Sweden (possibly Denmark as well).. if they start censoring it it's going to be very weird considering how a very eh song by Frank Zappa to this day is played on the radio despite that some people might get offended by the lyrics.

I just added a second argument to it, I didn't try to contradict anything of what you said, don't even think I did?
(also, I said that the past is important, but the present too, we can't just look at the past and we can't just look at the present, we need to combine it)

i dont see this anti-swear word energy when megan thee stallion had to censor the word "booty" on the amas... the premises for this discussion are so all over the place!
