i think because we used to be a small community, like 200 people online would be woW, mby a lot of people see this as like a safe space, a place that isnt overcrowded and basically everyone knowing everyone. and mby people are afraid that a younger audience is about to come and take it all away or change thing. you know, even if it changes to the better, many still fear change. idk, that is partly what i feel myself and partly the impression i get from what people are saying.
