YES i still do 1 moomin mug rice 2 moomin mugs water i dont abandon the water!! 

rice n water in hot frying pan, let it cook for a bit, add soy sauce, tomato paste n spices (usually cumin, garlic powder, onion powder n chili powder) mix n let it boil/cook idk what the right term in this case n then add lentils and/or beans at the end u_u
