I think it's just weird to take a word that means something different and then use it to mean another thing but that thing already has a perfectly good name and everyone is confused

I don't have comfort characters, i just have characters that i really like, i find comfort in listening to rant videos when i'm angry or sad whilst drawing or playing a video game.
