like yeah, the tan job looks terrible, but it's obviously synthetic light and you can see on the pictures where he looks super orange, that everything around him has a yellow tint as well
I'd guess poor white balance or too contrasted light to be at fault here - which happens easily indoors if you don't have a shitton of studio lights
in natural daylight, it might not be that obvious or in well lit pictures, you don't see the bad tan job that much

this works also as a reminder on how you might look with a heavy foundation in some pictures
