I tried playing the old version of the secret of monkey island AFTER I played the new versions it was so horrible I was like goodbye , feels like everything is extra hard just cus the graphics so shit
i do get that it's really not appealing for today's standards. and tr games seem like horror games at times since it's quiet a lot and there are almost no cutscenes.

someone actually has been remaking tomb raider 2 and it would've been really nice if that actually happened but oh well

yes and i think the new ones are like more like uncharted? the old ones feel very realistic in the way that lara is alone all the time and the vibe is really creepy like it would actually be in real life. very quiet and exciting in a different way. more a puzzles too
