because economy makes me enter bitter mode immediately as i'm like smh these people with better economical background than me, the audacity
which is horrible but it's just like that sometimes
for me it's not even a question whether you take a loan or not because if i don't i can't study because 1) i don't have a job and i haven't had a paying job and 2) my parents/family can't help me economically to the degree where i don't need a loan
so when people are like yes take it up you can save the money i'm like  rip
very toxic thinking, jealousy is a pain

but yes, take up the loan if you can like the interest is pretty low anyway so even if you piss away the money it's less stupid than taking up credit

i mean, tbh taking the loan is a no brainer. i use it to survive, just as you do. i do get pissed off when ppl advice me, who lives entirely on the loan, to "just save money" - as if i have any money to save

but a lot of the time when ppl ask if they should get fullt lÄn og stipend i kinda assume that theyre askin because they live under economic circumstances that allow them to save the loan - because asking if u should take lÄnekassa because you need money to survive while studying is... kinda dumb imo.

i'm like.. honestly it's -2000 on my credit card right now and i do have the money in my savings but i'm like.. the bill isn't due before mid february and if i can get like 0,10% interest on my savings.. lmao
that's the only way i can save money..

as long as you can take it and don't think you'll need it in the future it's not dumb to take it up

I cant even afford the books or the exam fee without that loan, let alone the school money

Honestly, I'd have to study in my hometown and live with my parents and it's a big no from me
and then I wouldn't afford the books, the semester thing plus of course things like healthcare and my phone bill

because u dont have any interest while you study, but it will still accumulate renter when you put it in a fond or a hĂžysparingskonto. you put the loaned money into a fond, pay it back and keep the interest.
Well, there's no guarantee so I'd never do that.
If u don’t use the money while studying and see that everything goes to shit right afterwards u still have the money n can pay it back asap
Yes, but there's still (at least in Denmark) a very little interest on the loan while you study. It's 4 % atm. When you're done with your studies, it drops to the discount rate (which atm is 0 %) + an addition of 1 %.

Point is: While the loan is as good as it gets, I'd never borrow money if I didn't need them. That's just plain stupid imo.

well when i went to vg1 when i was 16 i lived with my mom and still got barnetrygd into my account so it wasnt ever really talked about as an option because there wasnt any need for it i suppose

but id like to add that i barely could afford anything i wanted back then and i didnt even have that much clothes or things, and when i spent money on games my mom got mad at me for wasting money

but the point of saving money is that while you may not need them NOW you could need them at some point in life, either as a buffer or as saving for a house. esp when you pay it back at the end of the semester.
