When ur male coworker says you would "make a good dyke?"

i'd be offended, and i'm not even a 'dyke' -it sounds condescending, they way he choses to phrase himself over you

probably him being either jealous, indimidated or having low self esteem, but like -there are better words to describe however you percieves you.. does he percieve you as alpha? does he percieve you good with the ladies? or does he look at you with one of the lesser pleasant stereotypicals of lesbians and dykes? who knows, he's being immature imo -funny or not

I mean am I being immature when I jokingly call him a lil bitch? Possibly

But I mean I've talked about women being hot b4 and I wear a lot of flannel so i opened a door

But we are not fucking each other and also theres a way to say it w/o using slurs or seeming possessive

And like at the work place no

Idk I mean today I heard a transphobic comment and was called a dyke by the same dude

Then a different dude said racist shit about black women and made weird sexual puns @ my advance

Am I overreacting possibly

But I feel gross I heard too much weird shit in the same fucking day lol

Also I'm not trying to say appreciating the beauty of another women or wearing flannel makes u gay
I'm just saying I can see where that would be evidence 4 some if they go off stereotyoes

I mean if like calling him a lil bitch is just as bad I will stop

I hope he never calls me that again

I feel like I'm just being sensitive and overreacting

Why did that feel so weird to me

Idk I'm a lil drunk sorry everyone

Being called a dyke in elementary and middle school felt so fucking horrible

Also I think I agree that its gross to be demanding of a person's sexuality

Like I think of kristen stewart and elliot page, ppl just demanded they come out as lesbian

Neither ended up identifying as that, and k stew even said she never really wanted to open up about her sexuality publicly anyway

It's got this weird element of wanting to claim ppl for a team as if ppl are possessions

I guess it feels dehumanizing and that's why I'm upset

i think your feelings about this experience you had today are all very valid and you dont have to like justify it or excuse it because youve also made innapropriate jokes. he crossed a line today and you may have crossed lines together before but this time he went too far and youre entitled to feel a way about it.
