damn csant be me, had exphil at uni since w gotta have it. Whenever ppl ask what historical person u wanna have a beer with i'd say socrates just to fight n beat the sht out of him since i got so tired and angry at everything we had to learn abt him and his philosophy.
He literally was forced to drink poison since he nagged the kids with philosophy, little did the ppl know that time he still nags kids at uni jhghjlkjhjk
Ouff
I think my aunt has a masters or sum in philosophy idk, I got her books (+ they have noted in them, very helpful) n I just like reading in them sometimes idk. Im not very interested but its fine enough
there's no job for philosophy tho, my friend with masters work in norfakta n calling ppl for absolutely nothing. Like chef is great since u can get work, but philosophy there's no job where you can wear a blanket and ask ppl what's the meaning of life
Lmao yeah, it would just b for the flex

i didn't go, but my son goes to a montessori school and the approach is very similar to waldorf! it's actually a fantastic model. i highly encourage you to do some research because it does so much to stimulate early childhood development.
What do your son experience at thast school and what should I expect as substitute teacher? I just got one appointment since im a assistant which is why im trying to learn a bit, but can't dedicate so much time since it's just one appoitment etc
what's the age group you're working with?

Yeah but I mean, r u graded on the same principle as ppl in other schools, or are u at an advantage from being getting graded there
id even say that the standards are higher on steinerskolen. esp in vgs, they have soo many more classes than public school and they have no school books - so you have to work harder because your silkebok has to be nice
damn longer school days sounds v hard, i prefered 8-14 days, and those which are 8-16 were too long tbh. ;_;
Idk what silkebok is, can you explain?

silkebok is basically a blank soft book, but because theyre made specifically to be decorated nice and pretty when u fill it in (like ur literally have to make pretty frames and decor on the pages when u fill them in) every page is separated by a sheet of silkepapir that stops the colours form transferring from one page to another
u can find some examples if u google image serach silkebok but theres not a lot of em, obvi
they would get very intricate in school like u could spend the entire class and ur spare time at home decorating the pages and frames u made, it was so weird. but also very fun. i loved making pillars and statues on mine when we were learning greek mythology

lessons were lecture style, and you had to take notes from then. classes were thematically divided, and at the end of each period you had to take your notes and renskrive and decorate them into your silkebok and hand them in

Aight I worked there today with first graders. It wwas carniwal today and kids were dressed as animals, cute.
It was a lot of dancing, singing and mostly play. Overall today went well and the teachers liked me and suggested to come with CV and want to recommend me - super reasuring and good feeling that I made a good impression & work.
