ive been making likeĀ fermented oats to eat as oatmeal
so i have a jar with oats fermenting and keep taking parts of it out to eat and feeding it with fresh oats and water
its been working rlly well so far, they have a nice tanginess and fermented flavour without being too sour and it turns rlly creamy
its also an easy way to get some easy cheap probioticsĀ especially if ur vegan
oooh iāve had a sourdough going and been meaning to start a scoby for kombucha but it never occurred to me you could ferment oats!! i might try that out in lieu of my normal overnight oats
