like this was proved last berry season when we couldn't get berry pickers from abroad because of corona. the companies kept talking about how they're in huge trouble because they can't get workers now even though there were tons and tons of finnish applicants to those jobs

take the blame off those actually exploiting peoples suffering and put it onto a handful of folks who "aren't trying hard enough," beautiful distraction, blame shifting - exactly what they want you to do.

I'd compare it to blaming guys on motorized bicycles for climate change lol.
