if u consider urself a fan of someone, odds are u have a level of admiration for that person that far exceeds whats normal in  relationship, especially from the get go. which easily can lead to tolerating bad behaviour, forgiving things that really shouldnt be, all that jazz shitty ppl like to pull in shitty relationships. u dont want to disappoint ppl u look up to

like sure things can work out but id never in a million years want to be with someone i couldnt trust to set their own boundaries with me n i dont understand how other ppl can

Hm, yea... Maybe I am looking at this wrong but I don't see why a person wouldn't brake off that kind of relationship even if it was with someone who they are a fan of.
