Because people doesn't tolerate that people come from a different point of view and my philosophical stances are not appreciated here thus I do not share them anymore 

That's just depressing.....But not shocking. Just makes me feel a bit bitter towards people. Like how do some people take in the same views constantly, It just sounds dull. It's always nice to hear different perspectives.

i think it really depends on where you live, the moomins were made up by a finnish woman and is a classic in here in finland, so everyone here has seen it

later the cartoon took off in countries near finland, such as sweden, norway, denmark and russia, and so a lot of people from those countries have seen it as well

i believe a moomin comic strip was also published in a major british newspaper back in the day, which probably led to a few british fans (:

i doubt many americans know of it though

i can't recommend it enough! some of the english voices are slightly annoying (although i might just be biased because i grew up with the swedish voices) however the calming soundtrack, the lovey-dovey angelic characters and the wholesome storyline will surely make up for it
