Yea i agree with you 100%

it also doesn't help that churches, especially in the rural US, are often the only kind of childcare folks can afford, are often the only places that provide afterschool activities, or teen programs, or any kind of events for children.

i did not know that
i went to a church-y daycare as well but i think it’s getting less and less common here in Finland all the time
i’m from a pretty small town as well though
