No but I was also only washing my hair once a week.

when I moved to Kentucky and had to use different water, it left my hair really... gummy feeling? it actually made my scalp hurt, lots of buildup, so I had to stop.
hmm yeah i heard the vinegar thing was used to even out the ph-levels so maybe the ph level in the water over there was very different?

my hair is very fragile so i feel a bit afraid of those kinds of methods anyway
Yeah I'm sure if I played around with it more I could get it right again, but like, you know that weird pain in your scalp where you've had a ponytail up and you take it down and it hurts? That's how my head felt all the time and it wasn't worth it anymore.

My hair is super thick and strong and healthy so I can experiment a bit.
yeah no i wouldn't encourage u to keep trying if it felt like that.... but it's sad that the water changed so i had to change your routine !! it's always nice to find things that work for u so it sucks when it stoppes working for some weird reason like that

ah yeah that's lucky!

I use dandruff shampoo now, even though I don't have dandruff, because chemically, it's similar to clarifying shampoo which is way too expensive and fragrant for me.

Honestly I have so much hair, having something that lathers is really quite  nice after all those years of combing baking soda thru it
I am spoiled now

yeah i've heard that dandruff shampoo can be used when u try to get rid of color in ur hair aswell so it seems like it's multi-functional haha

ah yeah that's nice!! i am considering using shampoo once a week and then just doing a birch sap rince/birch water rince now that u put it that way.... to get to experience the lathering experience once a week haha

Ohhhh, fun!! I've tried "natural" stuff before, like skincare, but my skin didn't like it :--( But i try to be more cautious about what products i buy and what's in them and if they animal cruelty free!

I hope that the schampoo works well for you!!

natural things are almost even trickier than "normal" things for sure !! i think you would have to experiment a lot with some things to get it right really... what did u use for ur skincare?? like honey or birch sap or something else? ^__^ i feel very sceptical to using natural things on my skin, in comparison to how i feel about my hair.... i guess the skin seems much more... delicate in a way?

and tysm !!

update
my hair did get quite dirty in the last two days... i just washed my hair with just birch sap (used a small amount of shampoo with it last time) and it's cleaner than before, but not completely clean... might take some time for the hair to get used to this treatment for sure. will probably use both shampoo and birch sap next time to get it really clean again
