Sour cream n stuff like that u can count in teaspoons/tablespoons (most apps have that option), and then grams for the rest, or amount, like half an avocado n stuff, w pasta u can do in dl tho grams ia slways best but its easier to count dl

im probably gonna start measuring the pasta at least because im pretty sure i eat way too much

Yeah, the most important is to count high calorie stuff, pasta, avocado, stuff with high fat content in general (including butter, cooking oil if u use that for cooking) and stuff that has a lot of sugar
