testosterone is fat antagonist and estrogen is fat promoting, so if any female friend or you thinks it is harder for women to lose weight and men say they are wrong, the women are indeed correct. estrogen is also promoting for bone deposition, that is why older women get osteoporosis much more severely than men of the same age because they have little estrogen to promote bone growth. It's also harder to absorb nutrients as you get older, so that hurts too...
there is a table at the second hand store i work at that just came in that is fancy marble that someone dyed purple and green and sealed a large picture of a vintage styled water heater so it looks like it's spinning in the swirl of the marble...

i think people know this but... daddy long legs (the spider) that people play with because they are safe are actually very poisonous but their mouths are so small they can't bite people...
many cosmetic products that are "cruelty free" (definition--the company that makes them does not test them on animals) pay other companies to test them on animals because it is really hard to get their new products to pass safety regulations without animal testing. by doing this, they can say that their company does not test products on animals...
i wish i could just dig myself a dungeon house underground without worrying things like........building permits and property limits and taxes and builders code

dogs are not true carnivores. like people, they process meat easier than most plants but they don't really need meat in their diets, just protein. Conversely, cats ARE true carnivores and they need a meat diet (unless you want to make artificial proteins or something complicated to add to their diet)

spiderman was written by steve ditko (i think). stan lee actually wrote very few of the superhero comics attributed. well, he "wrote" them as in the actual authors made the plot and the pictures and the chronology and order of picturesa nd the dialogue bubbles and everything and stan lee filled in the dialogue bubbles. so, take that as you will...
the reason there is fluoride in mouthwash, toothpaste, and some water for your teeth is that it strengthens the structure of your teeth. I believe it's hydrogen ions that are at the ends of your teeth structure. they bind very weakly and can get pulled off quick. conversely, fluouride binds much stronger and is happy to replace the H ions in your teeth, so it's harder to break your teeth outsides down if fluoride is on them.
i forget the exact story, but my old science teacher told me about a time early in the space missions about when the scientists had to set the clocks to account for like all time since a certain date a long time ago (like thousands of years ago). don't ask me to explain that, i'm not a physicist but more bio side stem. anyways, they kept coming up off by a few days and needed it to be right. some scientists calculated the amount of time lost in the Bible when God would change the time (i.e. when He stopped time for a battle or changes the sun's position for the sign for a king) and it was like exactly the amount of time missing from the fancy space mission's clocks...
