I don't have an iPhone, so I don't know how it works there, but on mine (Samsung), you can just select the period yourself.

🤔🤔 mby check tomorrow, dunno, or if one of ur parents r the ones that own the subscription, they can probbaly check. 
I know the way my phone counts the billing periods is very different from how the app counts the periods, so they might not match up for you either
