Its $600 a month, my current gross pay is less than $150 over the 3:1 income requirement. They had only 10 applicants (myself included). Fortunately they weren't advertising for further applicants so I figured my chance was high 

I didnt hear back so I asked for an application status. They said it was filled but they could do a showing for the $650 a month basement one bedroom.  However they subsequently messaged me back saying I dont meet the income requirement and that they were returning most of my application fee. I asked if I were to provide additional income (I'm looking into a side job) if I would be considered. They said yes and that they would contact me back when they had an opening. 

2 weeks later they had another opening. My mananger mentioned trying to put me in for a raise a month ago. I pushed him further about it and he found out from hr that  in two weeks I will be getting a $1.25 raise. I told the property managers and they said the raise is enough to qualify me and next thing I know I have a lease agreement in my inbox 

Still wanna second job tho for extra cushion lol
