it is, yes. that's good, haha, i trust you
ah, how do you feel about everything being online? awf no, it's way in the future! just focus on the now, do your work, and you'll be all good ❤️
laws and rules, and the understanding of and applying the law has always interested me, so i suppose that's the main reason, as simple as that. when i was younger i used to want to work with police investigations, so i thought i would try to reach that field through criminal law rather than suffer in a job as a police officer, lmao. but yeah, my issue, and why i didn't start studying law sooner was 1) dance and 2) i was interested in so many other professions as well (like i was considering literally everything... from hairdresser, to vet and astronomer) that i could never actually decide what my plan b after dance should be. however, about two years ago i randomly stumbled upon a couple of youtube videos about studying law, and then over the past two years as i've bee looking a lot more seriously into it, i have slowly realised that is it indeed law i would like to study. now i'm leaning towards environmental law tho, as i think that's extremely important right now, but i'm also looking forward to learn all kinds of law, as well as the history and philosophy etc.!
yeah, i'm honestly very content with this situation, haha. whatever's meant to be will be
and yes, what i'm looking for is a contract as a full time dancer with a professional company!
it's kind of sad, i like creating a relationship with my teachers even if it's not that deep or anything, and i like studying at campus rather then at home but, i don't know. it's kind of to my benefit atm since i would have had to live with my friend or smth the first 3 weeks otherwise so, it's good in that sense. but yeah, like most people i don't prefer having it like this. especially since the exam is still on campus so the stress of that will still be experienced.
aah thanks <3
environmental law is so.... idk how to put it. in sweden at least, it's just, a mess (imo), and since law changes so slowly, it's really build on a structure that didn't take the field seriously at all. the environmental laywer teacher we had was teaching us the subject in a very different way than we usually get to learn as well. i hope it's a more overcoming area where you live (was it norway or..?). anyway, it's good that u seem to enjoy a lot of different areas and i'm excited to hear more about where u end up !!
what would that mean more specifically? like, being a full time dancer, would u be a teacher or would you compete or what would u do hahH i don't know anything about this area rly
that's very understandable. and it's interesting that they choose to have an in person exam when you haven't been in all year.. but yeah, hopefully it will all work out so that you can go back to in person classes in november!
whelp.. i obviously haven't studied it yet, so i'm basing my thoughts on what sounds interesting in theory and what i care about and am drawn to. but as i said, i'm excited to learn all kinds of law, and i'm definitely open to any direction and that i might change my mind when i actually start studying it and get to sort of experience it from the 'inside' in a way.
and yes, i will be studying at a norwegian university mainly, but i'm also gonna look into exchange years and all kinds of international relations, cause being in an international community and just learn about and experience different cultures and meet people from all over the world has been my favourite part about doing my dance degree abroad. i don't wanna just go back to norway and get stuck there only surrounded by norwegians, ahah
like, you know when you pay to go see a ballet at the opera house? i would be a professional dancer onstage like the ballerinas, getting paid to perform as my full time job, except that it's not ballet but contemporary dance. the performance part is just the highlight at the end of the day tho, before that you have hours and hours of workouts, technique classes, creative sessions, rehearsals etc.! and being a teacher would potentially just be a side thing, so not a part of the same contract. hope that makes sense, haha
