so it's definitely looking more like they're doing a patch-up job on the joists and subfloor (however I am getting all new linoleum)
and at this point as long as it lasts the next few years while I figure my life out, I'll take it lol

honestly this house has taught me a big lesson in "take life as it comes"

also I'm 99% sure my landlord is slipping into senility.
the reality of a situation is never really as bad as you make it up in your head. even if the house were no longer livable, which it obviously is, you would still find a way to get on with your life. it's just a bump in the road, really. that's what happens. i'm sorry to hear you're not sleeping though. is there a way you can get your hands on a couple ambien or something, just for the time being? especially because now it might just become harder to sleep now that you've been awake so long.

Honestly I'm afraid to take sleeping pills where I live totally by myself, if something happened, no one would know.
