the one that sucked was when the not-painful screening came back with abnormal cells and they had to do a colposcopy which did hurt, but it was bearable.Ā 

I also am a chronic pain patient too so my pain tolerance may be naturally higher tho? so I wouldn't take my word for the pain levels lol

i have this trauma too and i'm kinda paranoid that if i go to a check up it would trigger a panic attack so i've just delayed the whole thing.
my grandma did have cysts in her womb and got the whole thing removed which is kinda making me worry lol.

but yea i guess it depends on the person ye
I mean that's a conversation you can have with your doctor, if you have a driver sometimes they can give you something like valium before a procedure, but probably not for a regular papĀ

Yeah my mom was born in 1975, the vaccine did not exist back then
and I got it super late because it was so brand-new when I was growing up that she was afraid to let me get it
I think I got it at 23, which back when I was 23 was the oldest they'd even give it to you bc the longer you wait to get it the less effective it is

36 hours I think mby, abt that so its a pretty big window, tho I think if u do it more than once in the 21 days ur not fonna be fully protected anymore, but for one time its fine I think

I usually have mine done at the same time as they do a pap, so they just do it while you're all spread-eagled since you're already there doin' the thing

but I've also had swabs where I just swab my v myself in the bathroom

How, the reason u can take a 1 week break and still be protected after the 21 days is cus of smth like idk, build up in ur body or smth? Idk, and if u take a break before its been 21 days u can get pregnant again. One day off the pills (if u take the pill the day after) is fine cus its still built up a bit, but if u do it more than once ur practically just having less of the hormones in ur body n hence they don't work as they shouldĀ
