That was hilarious! And I still don't really think it's been fully explained. I think they started moving toward the supernatural when they were planning on doing a Sabrina crossover.... then the show got cancelled and they just sorta scrapped the whole 'supernatural' thing without ever really bringing it to a close or saying WHY
