That was after I was left alone with her when she didnt want me to help her because she didnt know me and was scared to trust me 

This job is gonna be difficult but these thank yous feel real, whereas in retail they felt like empty platitudes

She has so much nail polish in her room 

Wondering if shed let me paint her nails 

Her room is fab pretty princess room she got mad taste 

Tho two others have some sweet decor too, I like the one with a boho room

This is so much better than a nursing home

Had a call today from her niece saying she wants a picture of it because this resident in the past has had full blown diabetes (apparently staff who have been there for 4 years didnt even know this, they only knew she was pre-diabetic). According to staff they have told the higher ups and they havent done shit. I may need more information. Perhaps they havent been able to book an appointment because they're all full? Theres a staff meeting tomorrow and I'm bringing this up for sure. 

Only three days in and I'm considering filing a report for neglect. I cant get fired for this legally as its within my right. I will admit I'm scared to do so regardless. Still think I need more info but I'm already pissed. Fuck it, fire me or put me on your shit list. Still gonna mull it over but if I determine its neglect I am reporting that shit. 

I knew I was gonna love the residents but subpar care from management and/or staff was absolutely my concern.

Ok so shes going to urgent care and the full blown diabetes is not in her diagnosis history, plus niece has a hypochondria history anyway 

Thank god i dont have to file a neglect report
