Russian names are such a fucking mess
you have your name
then paternal thing
then surname but female it ends with A
but ME having 2 names lololol
Oh yeah i heard of that. In Spain we have the same but with surnames, first your fathers, then your mothers and so on, so you can have a very long list of surnames. I actually know my 8 first surnames.
bruh lmao I know like only 4, from all my grandmas and grandpas
but 8??????
bruuuh

but ye here it's like
your name
your father's name but like patronymic name
then surname with A

so like idk let's take a generic name

Olga, her father named Yuri and surname is Ivanov
so her name would be Olga Yurevna Ivanova
Thats really cool!  Thats actually funny because when i was a kid i had a russian friend named Olga and his father was Yuri hahaha

yep cultures are so different at times and it's very fun!
