cant understand how ppl hate this movie tbh, heard its way too "cringe" but i feel like thats kinda the point?? thats how it is for many at that age. loved every second of turning red, its such a feel good movie.

The teenage years is a lot of cringe, you are trying to find out who and what you are in the friend group.
You also want to break free from the parents and you always know best. You are thinking of new things, hear new music and find new hobbies and so on.

To me it shows how important communication is and trying to understand both sides. The dad was the best one in the movie, he saw how happy his daughter was and he saw that she could control her emotions. He saw that his wife did not see and i liked that about Encanto. Their parents loved their children and they stod up for them. It was refreshing to see an stable family that helped each other.

I felt the same way with Encanto, i loved that the parents really loved their children and wanted to help them. They stod up for them and we need more healthy families and more healthy love in the families.

I love it and you should give it a chance.
My music taste when i was a teenager was really wide and it was both a blessing and a curse.
Its was either "Never heard of that group" or "They are bad,my taste is better".
