yea one of the few good things that came out of it was ToG, that led me to being able to read new books again but.. ive become more aware of who on there im taking recs from, cause i forget that many of these ppl are young and i probably wouldve loved a lot of these a few years ago but now cant stomach most of it )):
I loved Heir of Fire, if all of the Manon povs were removed. Caelenas character arc in it is so good. I sorta stopped reading ToG at Queen.. Of.. I DON'T remember, there has been a handful of years. But ye, the audience on tiktok is young so it's hard to relate to their recs and likes now that I am older (this also going for bookstagram but there I at least have grown up w accs w similar age as I). 
i get that tbh, wasnt until rereading i found i liked it(i also skipped through some of her povs first time around tho). Im pretty biased w ToG since it was the first time in so long id been able to love new books, and also have so many of my fav tropes in it. didnt like the too many povs later on though, esp hated chaol's but i kinda hate him so it makes sense. 
im not too much on instagram, but yea i think getting recs from people the same age might make a huge differene ahah!

My all time favorites within recent enough years. I reread AEOR in fall so its still a 11/10 and I still need to reread Wintersong since I first read it in 2017 but it is so captivating!! I just loved the atmosphere so much!! And its like a dark folklore romance like thing

I think I'm gonna try to read this weekend too but I also need to move. But not too much. Still recovering from 1,5month w covid.
