we also castrated pigs in that class
I however could not pull it off

if you've never watched a man in a cowboy hat covered in blood from pig balls giving a guest lecture while actively castrating that pig as the thick accented professor of animal sciences from Trinidad stands next to him nodding approvingly trying to add context that we couldn't pay attention to due to the squealing piglets, you don't know what you're missing lol

I have never read a sentence that weirded me out yet fascinated me as much as that one LOL. And I thought I did some weird stuff in the medical field

Both ig.
Because i want a cat, more than a dog.
But I'm allergic to cats, so I'm a forced dog person.

cat - though i don't mind dogs, i don't see myself being capable of owning one

my cats r both super sweet and human loving. one will come to greet u when u come at my place regardless if he already knows u or not. he can also b super annoying bc he loves being the center of attention and comes demanding scratchies every second hour. if i have guests tho then he will demand them indefinitely bc "more ppl means more scratchies, right?". he also only bites or scratches u (and even then super gently) if he thinks u r playing with him, which is only if u scratch him near the stomach.
the other one acts more like the stereotypical cat, being v shy and scaredy and more of a loner, tho he loves his brother and feels safer when he's around  he's more likely to scratch u but he seems to b overall stuck in the kitten phase so he simply doesn't know to retract his claws when u handle him aka it's not his intention to hurt u

i'm sharing this all bc i know most ppl's experience with cats is the stereotypical one - which if i'm honest, i too thought cats couldn't b as sweet as my cats, but this goes to show that they r all individual personalities despite usually being a bit bratty hehe

there's hypoallergenic breeds, tho i from experience know they are v expensive (same level as purebred dogs). i used to b severely allergic myself, and i lived with a siberian cat (which is a hypoallergenic breed) for 10 yrs and never had symptoms. now i have two regular domestic cats and i only get symptoms if their fur gets into my nose or eyes and i have meds in case that happens

the thing is ppl can b allergic to different parts of the cat, tho usually it's a protein called fel d 1 which hypoallergenic cats produce less than others. it's def something to consider i think if u rly rly want a cat

I usually get the one that annoys me eyes and nose, which i fear if i get a cat, that it's gonna be unavoidable that i react? I would consider a hypoallergenic cat though.

Always dogs.
I've only ever loved one cat, and that was my boyfriend's saliva spilling cat who loved cuddling with humans.

I am a "both" person

But i live way too small and i am not home enough to adopt a cat or dog and to be able to teach them stuff. For now i only have guinea pigs, geckos and a spider
