Idk sounds like bad quality for me. I had Ray Bans back when my parents paid my glasses and never had problems with that kind of stuff.
years ago though
they have a different film technique now
like I have expensive glasses and even I got told the film would wear off within two years
they use anew technique that makes it way cheaper for the film to be on, but also less durable
seems like a step in the wrong direction
for consumers? yes
for the brands making the glasses and forcing people to buy new ones every two years? ... is it though?

also, you said the glasses are badly scratched
I've had glasses for 4 years (like the same lenses) at the most longest and never had scratches in them
and that was the year where I was playing basketball and got a ball to the face like at least once a month (I had to get the frames fixed so many times)
but the lenses were always fine

are you careful about not dropping them, always putting them on an elevated surface and not putting stuff on top, keeping them in a case when you're not wearing them and can't have them protected, don't dry rub them with any cloth (except microfibre) and only wet rub them with microfibre or soft tissues (no cotton or wool). Also, remove when in the shower if possible
like I don't want to come off as the glasses police, but it shouldn't be that easy to scratch the glasses in general (even cheap ones)
I can't really be careful with them because I wear them 24/7 or I can't navigate .
They are not real glass but the plastic kind so they are lighter and don't hurt, maybe that's the reason why.
I also have pretty long lashes and sometimes they touch the glasses.
you're speaking to someone who's wearing glasses since she's 8, I know the struggle
I mean, I have so bad myopia, I even need my glasses to read
also my lashes touch the glass too, but they don't scratch it
probably shitty quality then.

I have Fielman equivalent too (basically belgian Fielman) and it's just the same, trust me
your glasses get scratched if you aren't careful about how you place them (like placing them down on the glass side) or if you wear them when lying down or you know, wrong cleaning method
they truly are delicate and can get messed up real quickly, but also being mindful can help making them live way longer
the only glasses I've ever encountered with a deep scratch were the reading glasses of my cousing, who was putting them in her handbag wihtout a protective case. those had scratches. but even for fine scratches to appear ... only ever happened to me the one time I fell on gravel and my glasses got knocked off and skitted over the ground for a few metres

they aren't deep scratches more like a drinking glas that was in the dishwasher too many cycles scratches

yeah, surface scratches
you can limit them by using different cleaning cloths (be careful with microfibre, if there#s dust on them, that will scratch
also, if your glasses are dusty, rinse them with water first
the dust makes the scratches
and be very careful about how you place them during night or the few times you don't wear them
(well, too late for these glasses, but if you get new ones, see if this makes a difference)

I always place them like this and I don't think I ever knocked them over

microfiber might be the issue but they never got really clean with the one the optician gave me so I probably need to invest in better probably more expensive ones.

yeah, that's a good placement
okay, little life hack: don't clean your glasses just with those tissues they pack the glasses with
they are soooo shit
this is like number 1 to clean the glasses and genuinely get rid of the grease smudges (because the cloth just wipes the grease around and evenly distributes it, it doesn't make the glass free of the grease, which will make for light refraction and all that)
use luke warm to warm water. rinse. add a very small dolop of dish soap to your fingers and apply the pea sized soap to all four sides of the glasses. lightly rub (no pressure). open tab again and rub with your fingers under running water. then rinse soap suds off. hold your glasses on the ear pieces and from the top or bottom (your choice) at an angle blow with force on the glasses. this one takes practise to figure out the best angle and also how to blow with force without spitting on the glasses (common beginner mistake). the water droplets will run down the glass and collect at the rim, which you can just dry by brushing it against your jeans. (no lense contact)
no need for any fancy cleaning things that don't work, also way cheaper. it' all just a matter of practice on how to blow dry your glasses without getting dizzy or spitting all over the place
