sounds like a vvery non dramatic break up, i guess it would be easier to get over when it just ran out in the sand like that?
i always feel like such a hoe but for me the reason it was "easier" (aka i only cried my heart out for a few days until my mom told me "u know u can still be Friends right? hes not Dying" ) was bc i started getting to know (and falling for...) my current bf very close to it. like it mightve even been that when i started to get to know him i realised what i was missing in my current relationship then and thats why i brought our relationships future up w my ex. (for ref my ex was very long distance relationship, thats why it couldnt last/wasnt as complete/fulfilling as it could be)

like current bf we were just becoming friends and i really enjoyed that, but then it kinda quickly turned into smth else and i even had to like be firm in that i didnt wanna jump into a new relationship right after ending another one... 

so tldr: it Was easier (still not easy ofc) for me bc i didnt have a long "mourning period" in the same way, since i got quickly distracted, plus the fact that we could quite easily just become friends instead (since long distance so it was basically just best friends+online romancve/benefits lol. so its not like ur suddenly missing physical intimacy with them bc. that wasnt a thing that we had.)

will never stop feeling bad for starting to fall for someone new in like the grey zone of breaking up w ex tho, am hoe 👍 or my bf is a homewrecker gfdg

i had known him for almost 10 years though and it was one of the hardest things i ever did

life got really dark after that cause it was so hard on me
