either exfoliant or peeling

I'd recommend you go looking for an enzyme exfoliant/peeling or a very low grade acid (but again, those are more precarious with sun influence afterwards, like you have to be vigilant with sunscreen and even more so if you're somewhere with either a lot of sun of if it snowed and it's bright in general).

If you have sensitive skin (skin that turns red easily) or have a lot of spots/acne, I'd say stay away from physical exfoliants (so those with bits and pieces in it like sugar or nut pieces) because they can make you even more red or even rub open spots and then you risk scarring more easily.
I do not burn easily, but I do have my acne on the lower part of my face.

I was thinking about trying this one since it's supposed to be good for dry skin

but these chemical exfoliants stress me out so much. so scary!!
don't be afraid of them!
use low percentages and start with just once a week for a whole month and then slowly working yourself up to 2-3 times a week. (I exfoliate weekly, because I feel like that's the best for my skin, but I know others who exfoliate every 3 days and their skin works great like that)
just be careful in always wearing sunscreen (even if you don't burn! some of those chemical peels can make you more prone to discoloration and dark spots in the sun or even change the colour of your skin - I have a vitamin A serum that could literally turn me orange if I were to apply it in the morning and then go out in the sun)
So always use them in the evening and put on sunscreen the day after for sure!
i'm bad at using sunscreen and i def is not the person that will hold myself to it so idk if it is a good option for me
