It has happened to me before that aliexpress doesn't write the vat number thing on the package so I get double vat fee, but I have just contacted the mail service n had to send in invoice thing to them on email and they fix it fast. Its annoying tho, but at least its fixable I guess, probably the same where u live
it is! unfortunately vat stuff things are overworked here, and err to the side of the customer always cheating-ish, so I would rather not end up with having to share tons of documentation before getting a package. (I worked in vat two months ago)

It could be different tho since norway isn't in the eu, so we have a voec agreement with online shops (the ones that bother registering for it, etsy is registered), and they have to put the voec number on the.pacakge I think and it might not come out automatically on the packing label I guess, so would be different for each seller if they know to put it on there or not? I saw ppl on trustpilot complain abt them not putting the nimber on the packages, but mistakes can happen so idk if its a common thing or not.lol. but I guess ill see once package arrives
