i am a red and gold decoration with rainbow lights type of girl,
but i LOVE an all white and green tree aesthetic

thats true! snowmelting can lead to weeks of nightmareish conditions outdoors, this really was the best and safest way- but the transformation from a perfect winter wonderland to a drenched grey and brown soup of a landscape within just a couple hours was a sight to witness i didnt know if i wanted to laugh or cry

i avidly prefer holiday crafting get togethers and cookie swaps(or cookie socials) over gift giving too
i think theres a generational disconnect

i blame Hallmark, it feels like their fault

exams do NOT spark joy
but i agree the christmas vibes are very different everywhere really. so i can see how that may be a little obnoxious.

and seeing family is arguable the best/worst part of the season
