Yeah it is really cool! In fact in order to get a green egg you have to breed a brown-laying chicken and a blue laying chicken. And the color of green depends on the color of brown. If you breed blue with light brown you get a sage green, and if you breed chocolate brown with blue you get an olive green.

You can also breed to have speckles on eggs too

No, egg color and feather color don't directly influence each other. Different chicken breeds have different feather colors, patterns and types, and those can affect each other. Mixed breed chickens are pretty fun because you can't always tell how they are going to turn out.
