sometime in september i decided i wanted to make honey cakes for christmas. specifically chocolate covered honey hearts and honey bombs.
so i started making the honey dough in september. in november i made the syrup dough. in december it was finally ready. i wanna tell the full story of how much time and money and dedication i spend on this, my complete meltdown in the middle of it all, the honey bombs that "blew up", the chocolate difficulties, how i almost gave up but made it through perfectly anyways, but all that would take forever to write and i dont think anyone would read it lmao.
but let me just tell you i had 3 kilos of dough and i managed to make honey hearts and honey bombs to my entire family + neighbor + some friends. 

heres a few pictures of how they turned out in some of the packages i made for people. im actually kinda proud of how it turned out 






we delivered them on peoples doorstep, knocked on the door and ran lmao




also  a honey bomb consist of two cakes with buttercream and apricot jelly in between and covered in chocolate 
a honey heart is just the cake covered in chocolate (with sprinkles on top ofc)


im proud of myself nd i wanted to share
