Sims 4 Players which is better?

So my current Macbook is old (like really old) it was the last one to be released with the disc drive. I bought it new in September 2015 but now I can't update it.

I haven't been able to play sims 4 for over a year now because of it so my question for Sims 4 players which is better and why.

- Macbook

or

- iMac

(I'm getting a new apple computer because my external hard drive is only for apple computers and i have all my photography stuff saved on their so can't afford to lose any)

I would but my external hard drive is a 4tb because of how much space i needed so a usb flash drive to buy a new one would be an added cost on top of the computer xx

Personally desktop is always gonna be preferable but it depends what else you'll use it for, if you would use it on the go, what your budget is etc.

So money isn't an issue, is what you're saying? I'd say desktop, if you're gonna use photoshop it's probably easier anyway. I prefer a bigger screen and a mouse over a trackpad so definitely a desktop person.

yeah money won't be an issue because i want to pay it monthly anyway. Not to mention i also work as a team leader on match days at a football stadium so i have extra cash coming in at £9.95 an hr. I mean photoshop was ok on the macbook but a bigger screen would be great to have but i'm also wanting to play sims 4 so it needs to work well with that as well xx

I've never used an Apple anything so I can't recommend either. I feel like this is a very specific niche to be looking for help on vp, people who've played ts4 on both macbook and imac, that is.

i've only ever had apple so a windows computer won't be harder to use for me. Even school, sixth form and uni it was apple computers.

I have iphone and ipad and apple watch so i'm pretty much an apple lover haha.

A lot of people are saying iMac so i'm thinking that might be the way to go xx

Understandable!
I would never wanna trade my iphone to an android haha.
The imac is more powerful and it can run more things, so thats the way to go. Only negative thing is that you cant bring it with you, like a macbook. But u said you have an ipad so i think you should be good heheh
