For those of you who may not know what that is, I'm gonna get strapped to a table thing and lay there for like 15 minutes and then they're gonna tilt me up and I'm gonna have to chill there for like 45 minutes or until I pass out to see how my blood pressure and heart rate react to being upward. Some places also give nitroglycerin which may also make you pass out and I'm hoping this place isn't one of them.
BUT at least I might get a diagnosis out of it (: They're mainly checking for POTS right now. Since I got covid at the very beginning of October I've felt dizzy daily, my vision changes all the time, I get chest pains almost daily, I've almost passed out just walking from my classes to my dorm several times, my heart rate will be in the 50s-60s one minute and after walking a few feet it'll suddenly be as high as 150, and so much more. My job is a tour guide for my college and that's very very difficult now when it's an hour long walk and going to the dining hall can get close to knocking me out. But I've powered though! Hopefully this test will lead us in some direction.
Have you ever had a tilt table test? Do any of y'all have POTS or know someone with it?
