i've started studying hebrew, french, spanish, ukrainian, japanese and arabic at some point in my life, but i eventually dropped them all bc i'm too impatient hhhgh... wish i could just skip the learning part and just magically be able to speak all of them lmao

REAL learning can be fun sometimes but progress takes so long … i just wanna wake up one day and be fluent

i also self-studied turkish for a while but gave it up when i started studying russian because i kept mixing them up somehow. also their way of telling time scared me deeply i dont remember why it might not have been bad at all but i think i cried

im super fascinated by constructed languages, like actually fully functional languages constructed for fictional worlds, its so cool imagine creating a language

at different stages of summer boredom i started duolingoing different languages like spanihs that i keep giving up on lol, swedish bc hiers i know like um 5 words, chinese (i learnt like 3 characters and gave up), korean alphabet (didnt plan on leaning the language actually but i was rly bored so i just learned the alphabet yes)

I was in germany a few months so i can understand it, as well as french because i took it in high school. i took a Russian course in Uni but my teacher was a mean russian lady and made me cry so i stopped but i know the letters at least
