Vikings, celts, and irish people had culturally significant MATTED hairstyles. If you want to mat your hair like their's, nobody is stopping you. Just don't mat them to look like dreads and then call them dreads, because that's racist.

White hair MATS naturally if you don't take care of it. Like if you don't wash it or brush it or anything. So saying you rhair naturally MATTED just means you don't take care of your hair.

I had really bad depression a few summers ago and went without washing my hair for more than a month and it matted
