does it work that like it fools your body to think it is pregnant or somth?
b\c at least in cows it is all about the hormone balance and how certain hormones that have active roles in making sure the animal ovaluates, is heightened and then lowered by different hormones at different times. There are basically two parts - the first which makes the egg ready to detach and be inseminated - and then the other one (progesterone) that tells the body that it hasn't gotten pregnant this time by the brain noticing that there's less progesterone in the blood. So if the pill includes progesterone I'll assume it makes your brain believe that it has been impregnated and therefore you don't get your period.

like this is all I know. It probably was no help, but this kinda supports it https://sml.snl.no/progesteron

ohh hmm yeah. i didn't know that about progesterone! yes the mini pill has only progesterone in it

i think if your ovulation stops then your body probably thinks it's pregnant, right? but with the mini pill quite often users will continue to ovulate. this is more difficult than i anticipated aha, though interesting as well

Minipills do not stop ovulation from happening. Some people lose their periods, but some continue bleeding. I believe the only thing here is that the hormones affect the processof building up the period blood so it either is lessened with some users or disappears with other users. So period blood can still come out, and probably won't be building up. If you're not bleeding it's likely you aren't producing period blood at all.
