It should be safe to drink.
Tribes and other people needs to collect the rainwater so they can give their animals water. If you get lost in a forest and it´s raining you and there is no other water source you can drink it. If you get lost in the forest and need to drink you need to find a small waterfall or a stream. That water is more safe to drink than water that stands still.

U should get one of those big ones that collect water.. big containers that goes to the uh... gutter google tells me.. 
Then u can just tap the water u need when u need it
