I just remembered something.
Might have been last autum. My buzzcut was freshly dyed in a bright neon green, my eyebrows were arched, the rest of my makeup resembled a victorian ghost but with a red lipstick. I wore my heavy steelcap boots and a long coat with shoulderpads from the 80s - ready to go grocery shopping.
I was glancing at my reflection in the windows where I walked by. I was fucking feeling myself.
I looked through the dairy shelf, trying to find a yoghurt I liked.
And then an old lady walked up to me, and said "I just have to say, you look SO COOL. I'm so jealous." And I was like "omg thank you sm
