I've thought of doing things like commissions, but right now I don't think I'm prepared enough to be selling anything. I'm just looking some where to share my art and interact with others.

Oh wow. Thank you for giving all that input. 
I definitely think twitter is out of the picture. I tried twitter two times, and I just can't get around liking it.

For sure, i mean it happens  more the bigger the userbase i guess, so it's definitely a chance u would need to take if that's the app u go with

Twitter out for me since I don't like it. Leaning more between tumblr and Instagram, in particular tumblr. Honestly, it seems like getting follows/shares anywhere is hard. Building up your own crowd is very challenging, which I'm no stranger to lol. Hm, toyhou.se sounds a bit interesting. Thanks for telling me about it.
