ugh its hard

you have to be patient with yourself

but they say it takes two weeks to form a habit

sleeping is hard to adjust cause you like need enough sleep but when i fuck up my sleeping i always end up just having a few days where i dont get enough sleep. i have to set alarms to wake up at the rigth time and just get up even if i went to bed too late. eventually the body starts to sleep at the correct time to get enough sleeps.

ah yeah
this is the one really bad part about being single - i live alone and have no partner that goes to bed because i live alone and thus i just never really think about maybe going to bed lmao

and then like also when its time for bed its time for bed. stay off vp late at night. stay in bed. pretend to be asleep for two hours if you have to honestly.

I set myself strict time during which I go to bed and an alarm that I will respect and get out of bed then
at some point you'll get more tired, because you usually are awake too long because you can't fall asleep yet at an early hour, so it comes gradually
takes me about a week to get back to my old sleep schedule after I mess it up (but that's mostly because even with a messed up sleep schedule, it never gets that much out of hand, that I completely lose touch, so I usually just push it up to 2 hours which can be fixed pretty fast)

yeah
i think it's harder in the summer tho?? 'cause i could easily sleep two, three hours per night and be fine on that
like, the two or three hours when it's actually dark outside

you're talking to someone who has chronic anaemia, I'm basically tired all day long :d
I definitely can run on 6 hours of sleep, but that's not optimal and only works for two days in a row
7 goes for a week
my best sleep duration is from 8 to 8 1/2 hours
if you have trouble sleeping when it's still bright outside, investing in blackout curtains can be a great idea
it also helps with some of the not hormones but other things that go on in your sleep, when you sleep in darkness
try a few different schedules out, give them about a week or more to see if they work out for you or not and then tweak them
they found out that some people work best in the mornings and really like getting up early (I'm one of them myself, I get along the day best when waking up at 7am, which isn't even that early) and then there are people who are more active during later hours - for those waking up around 9-10am is bettr for their productivity and then being up later into the night

apparently you just make yourself a schedule and then stick to it and it's that easy

i mean i used to love getting up early when i was in a relationship lol but prior to that i was always more of a night time kinda person and i think i'm reverting back into that now because it's what's natural to me? idk

force yourself to go to bed earlier even if you don't fall asleep and get up at the same time in the morning each day even if you're hella tired
if you stick to it, it won't take long to adjust
