I avoided spoilers and played it by myself so I'm not basing this off hearsay. The rumors are true and there are good reasons as to why people are angry with this game and rightfully so. We waited 7 years for this.... 7 years for an utterly disappointing continuation of what used to be a wonderful game. You're better of throwing your money down the drain rather than buying TLOU 2.

Not only was it framed as an revenge story, which I don't mind, but it was so poorly written. Ellie didn't even get revenge when it really counted! She let that hulk-bitch live after she did all those horrible things and the game really wanted you to sympathize with her. Nobody asked for a game were you played as Abby. We wanted the father/daughter relationship and story like in the first game. If they so desperately wanted Joel to die, they should've waited longer than only 1h into the game. It would've made more sense if Tommy died and Ellie and Joel sought revenge together or literally anything else but this garbage.

What did Ellie achieve in the end of the day? She lost everything. Is the game supposed to be a nihilist wet-dream or something? Everything she worked hard for became pointless in the end. Why focus on a boring lesbian/bi-story nobody asked for? Dina-who? I want Joel.

Don't get your hopes up and be ready for a very disappointing game. My only suggestion is to appreciate how nice the game looks and how smooth the controls are once you get a hang of them because everything else is about this game is pure idiocy.
