i didn't use to have much hearing loss at all in like the "speech range" but now it's gone down to mild/moderate (right/left ear) at 2000 hertz and moderately severe at 3000-4000 hertz... oof

does anyone on here have experience w/ hearing aids? i'm hoping i could get those now n maybe they would help. idk though i read somewhere that they wouldn't help with sensorineural hearing loss but my dad has them and they seem to help so ?? idk

oh yeah i can't just buy them, i'll see a doctor and if they think i would benefit from hearing aids they'll refer me to get fitted for them.

^Abby: thanks! i've had hearing loss since i was a kid so this isn't anything new really, but since it's progressed now hearing aids may be an option
