what's the difference between binge eating disorder and just overeating? does anyone know. can you explain it to me

I think the difference is people who overeat tend to stop when they feel fairly full or might spread it across the day. While BED tends to be a very deliberate binge, eating everything until you make yourself sick or at the very least stomach ache in a smaller amount of time and then continue to have these binges regularly. If you have BED you might have a routine of going and buying certain foods for a binge too. 
But I'm not a doctor or anything, so I could be wrong.

short answer:

binge eating: simply overeating. can be for many reasons: not a mental illness.

binge eating disorder: recurrent binge eating to deal with negative emotions. unable to control.

yeah like others have said, for binge eating to be full out binge eating disorder it would have to basically take over your life and be on your mind 24/7. also getting in the way of other things in your life, like relationships and stuff and it's also obviously a huge drain on finances
