eek, i don't normally have anxiety about going to the dentist but i sure do now i've left it so long. and my dentist is in my hometown, not where i live. i could get an appt here, but not knowing who it is is too much.

 bloody hell that's insane. in the uk, you can get free dental care if you're on benefits i think or under 16 (it might be 18, idk). but you have to start paying up if you're not. i don't even wanna know how much a check up is because i know i can't afford it.

my parents have some money (not tons but like for retirement, the 4k € hurt for example but were managable) so i have to pay everything that isn't absolutely necessary (and like a chipped tooth isn't tf??) and people on benefits only get the same 'absolutely necessary treatment (braces get paid in rare instances but not always)
it's kinda fucked up.
like our health system is good except for dental work and eyewear
