can i wait til tomorrow to have it checked by a doctor? or do i need to have it checked at all? what should i do with it

It does sound like a potential fracture though or maybe it's possible you dislocated a joint? Idk I'm not a doctor, but I've done a similar stupid thing. Landed on my hand with my butt and fractured my middle finger.

You really can't unless it's serious enough that trying to move it makes it obvious.
I had full use of that finger and they were surprised when they found the fracture.

Going off that though I doubt it's a dislocation actually. He would've found that by moving your thumb around.

I had to wear a splint for a little while and it wasn't too bad ig.
